About Pastor Ed Crenshaw

Pastor Ed

Pastor Ed serves as a regional leader through involvement with the Assemblies of God as Senior Pastor of Victory Church and through interdenominational endeavors. He has a passion for a move of God that will bring transformation to the Philadelphia region and beyond.

Pastor Ed received his MDiv degree from Oral Roberts University School of Theology and Missions and was recognized by faculty as the Master of Divinity Student of the Year. He earned his undergraduate degree from Centre College (Danville, KY). Prior to coming to Victory, Pastor Ed served United Methodist congregations in Oklahoma, where he also directed the Oklahoma United Methodist Task Force for Hispanic Ministry.

After coming to Victory Church (in 1992), Pastor Ed graduated with a DMin degree (2006) through the Beeson Pastor Program, a prestigious full scholarship program of Asbury Theological Seminary. As a Beeson Pastor, in addition to classwork focusing on leadership and biblical preaching, Pastor Ed had the opportunity to travel to some of the fastest growing, cutting edge churches in the United States and Korea.

Pastor Ed has a vision to lead Victory Church to become an increasingly dynamic and multicultural community of worshipers who will touch the Philadelphia region with the presence and power of God.

About Victory Church Philadelphia

Victory Church

Victory Church is a young, multicultural, dynamic, and exciting contemporary church – a surprising claim for a church founded in Norristown in 1935! We can make that claim because over the years we have adapted our style and methods to reach a changing culture with an unchanging message. In recent years, we have grown from a relatively small neighborhood church in Trooper to a regional church adjacent to Route 422, attended by hundreds of people each weekend.

One of the key characteristics of Victory Church is our diversity. Because of the work of the Holy Spirit, our congregation consists of people from dozens of nationalities and ethnicities. In a society that is as fragmented as ours, Victory Church stands as a model of true community, united not by our personal preferences but by our common experience of the goodness of God. We believe you will find it to be a welcoming place, too.
